Although the general insurance business is still facing economic problem, but the going economic recovery
would cause many business sectors to improve. The government spending under “Prachawiwat” project would help
the general insurance business to further expand. It is expected that the growth rate will be about 8–10% as a result
of an increase in automobile sales, higher employment, increased exports and imports, improved tourism activities
and increased consumers and investors confidence.
