8. The Working Group is Preparing for IFRS 4: Insurance Contract, Phase 1 Compliance
In order to prepare for the readiness of the life and non-life insurance businesses for the implementation of
the IFRS 4 in 2016, a road map that outlines the procedures for complying with the IFRS4 has been prepared and

the working groups on accounting standard and tax have been set up.

9. Providing Opinions and Recommendations on Notifications/Orders of the Office of Insurance
Commission
The Board of Directors and Working Groups have held meetings among themselves and with the Office of
Insurance Commission to discuss and provide opinions and recommendations on the Notifications/Orders of the
Office of Insurance Commission as follows:
9.1 The draft of the OIC Notification on Criteria, Methods and Conditions for Making and Receiving Payments,
Auditing and Internal Control of Insurance Companies, B.E…….

9.2 The draft of the OIC Notification on Criteria, Methods, Conditions and Period for Preparing and Submitting
Financial Statement and Business Operational Report of General Insurance Companies, B.E. ….
9.3 The draft of the Insurance Commissioner’s Notification on Criteria, Methods and Methods for Investment
and Engaging in Other Businesses.
