10. The 18 Insurance Management Development Program (IMDP)
The Committee and the Academic Service and Training Center of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy,
Chulalongkorn University organized the 18 Insurance Management Development Program (IMDP) during August

27 to November 25, 2012, totaling 159 hours. A total of 47 trainees from insurance companies, broker companies
and the Office of Insurance Commission attended.

11. Training for the Trainers Course
The Committee organized the training for the trainers course for students of Songkhla Nakarin University,
Trang Campus, who study insurance subjects in the 3-4 year. These students underwent training on skills and
techniques to educate other students on insurance subjects in various universities. The training course was held
during January 5-8, 2013 at the Songkhla Nakarin University, Trang Campus.

12. The 39 ISJ General Course Scholarship
The General Insurance Association of Japan has granted 2 scholarships to insurance company employees
to attend the 39 ISJ General Course on the topic “Non-Life Insurance and Risk Management” during November

5-16, 2012 in Tokyo, Japan. The individuals who were selected are:
1. Mr. Kawin Kraiwee, Bangkok Insurance Public Co., Ltd.
2. Ms. Jarurak Tanachart, QBE Insurance (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd.

13. ASEAN Young Insurance Managers (AYIM) Training Scholarship
The Committee has nominated personnel in insurance business to be selected by the ASEAN Insurance
Council to attend the ASEAN Young Insurance Managers (AYIM) Training course, organized by Singapore College
of Insurance. The selected person was Mr. Ashirawat Rongkacharoenrat from Thai Reinsurance Public Co., Ltd.

14. The Celebration of the 45 Anniversary of the Thai General Insurance Association
A religious ceremony was organized to celebrate the 45 anniversary of the establishment of the Thai

General Insurance Association on November 16, 2012 at the Thai General Insurance Association.
