1. The Press Thank You Party
Organized a party to thank the press members for their contribution in publicizing the news and activities of
the Association regularly and to strengthen the relationship between Board members and members of the press
during April 28-29, 2012 at the Zign Hotel, Cholburi.

2. The 1 Young Non-Life Insurance Camp

The HR Insurance Club organized the 1 Young Non-Life Insurance Camp for forty (40) 2 and 3 year

students from universities in Bangkok and the provinces to promote knowledge and understanding on non-life
insurance business and its growth trend and to promote understanding on the benefits of insurance among
university students during May 12-14, 2012 at Saen Palm Training Home, Kampaengsaen, Nakhon Pathom.
3. Study Tour to Advanced Contact Center Co., Ltd.
The Young Insurer Club (Y.I.C.) organized a study tour to the Advanced Contact Center Co., Ltd. to study
management process and the operation of its call center, IT department and CRM department and to attend a
special lecture by an expert of the Advanced Contact Center Co., Ltd. on May 16, 2012.
4. Research and Human Resource Development Cooperation Project
The Committee organized an MoU signing ceremony for Research and Human Resource Development
Cooperation Project between the Thai General Insurance Association and the Eastern Asia University in order to
develop general insurance business and insurance courses for university education on June 26, 2012 at the TGIA.
5. Press and Members of PR Club Party
The Insurance Public Relations Club organized the Press and Members of PR Club Party for the year 2011-
2012 in order to provide an opportunity for public relations personnel in general insurance business to meet and
conduct activities together. The theme of the event, organized on June 29, 2012 at the Spoon Relaxing Restaurant
was “Meet & Greet with...IPR Club”.
6. 2012 Total Rewards Survey
The Committee and the HR Insurance Club implemented the 2012 Total Rewards Survey Project by assigned
the Tower Watson (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to prepare information on the rewards and welfare management structure in
order to improve the standard of rewards for personnel in general insurance business to be as competitive as other
types of business or industry in Thailand. A number of 46 companies participated in the project. These companies
shall receive the result of the rewards survey as well as the overview of various economic forecast and indicators
which will be useful for personnel planning.
