5. Plan to Control Motor Insurance According to Road Accident Victim Protection Act, B.E. 2535
                  The Committee has developed a plan to control motor insurance according to the Road Accident Victim
            Protection Act, B.E. 2535 and to propose the plan to the Office of Insurance Commission. The goal is to control the

            underwriting process of general insurance companies and to promote car owners to have compulsory insurance
            according to the Road Accident Victim Protection Act, B.E. 2535.


            6. Joining the OIC To Set Surveyor’s Licensing Framework
                  The Committee has joined the Office of Insurance Commission to set a framework for issuance of license for
            motor insurance surveyors. The goal is to improve efficiency, to protect the interest of the public, to create confidence
            and faith to the service and to improve claim management standard.


            7. Collecting and Improving the Conclusion of an Agreement and Memos of the Motor Insurance

               Business
                  The Committee has met to consult and to improve conclusions reached at various meetings by practitioners
            in motor insurance business. The purpose was to use the information as the basis for preparing recommendations
            for the improvement of motor insurance policy conditions and for the development of motor insurance products. The
            committee plans to hold a consultation meeting with the Office of Insurance Commission to implement the conclusion
            as the same standard.


            8. Collecting the Verdicts of the Arbitrators of the Thai General Insurance Association
                  The Motor Insurance Club has collected the verdicts of the arbitrators of the Thai General Insurance
            Association by classifying them according to the types of verdicts and posted on the association’s website.



            9. Creating Channel of Communications among Practitioners in Motor Insurance Business
                  The Committee has created a communications channel for the practitioners in motor insurance business by
            setting up Facebook pages for Motor Insurance Committee members and for senior motor insurance underwriters
            under the name “Motor Underwriter”. The committee also prepared the directory of senior motor insurance
            underwriters to facilitate communications and implementation of activities among these senior executives.


            10. Data Service Through Intranet
                  The Committee has assigned the Thai Insurers Data Net Co., Ltd. to collect data related to motor insurance
            in the form of TGIA Motor Service to assist member companies to access related data on the Intranet net work of

            the association such as car price inquiry application or an inquiry related to Knock for Knock project.
