5. Liability Insurance for Persons Affected by Category 3 Controlled Operations
The Committee joined effort with the Office of Insurance Commission and the Department of Energy Business
to develop a liability insurance package to protect persons who are affected by operators of LPG and CNG
businesses. According to the plan, the operators of category 3 business operations must have liability insurance

coverage at all time while engaging in the business operation.

6. Insurance for Pushing Boat, Tug Boat and Lighter Boat
The Committee has developed liability insurance policy for pushing boat, tug boat, and lighter boat and their
premium rates. The protection for third party in the case of death or total permanent disability is 100,000 Baht per
person, medical expenses up to 100,000 Baht per person and loss or damage to the properties of the affected
person is at actual amount. The total protection is not more than 5,000,000 Baht per incident and throughout
insurance period.

7. Drafting of Ministerial Rule on Solving Jet Ski Problem
The Committee worked with the Marine Department to draft the ministerial rule to solve a problem related to
jet ski by requiring all jet ski to have hull insurance, including third party liability for bodily injury and property
damage.

8. Improvement of Liability Insurance Policy
The Liability Insurance Club has reviewed the liability insurance policy for the third party and its endorsements
to be used as a standard policy that is in conducive to the current situation. The policy and its endorsements have
already been approved in principle by the Insurance Commissioner.

9. Comprehensive General Liability (CGL) Standard Policy

The Liability Insurance Club has laid out a project to develop Comprehensive General Liability: CGL standard
policy. It has sent a letter to seek an opinion on the possibility of having such policy from the Office of Insurance
Commission. After that it will start preparing the policy.

10. Improvement of File and Use PA policy
The Accident and Health Insurance Club has reviewed the file and use PA policy and endorsements to be in
line with current situation and has already submitted them for an approval by the Insurance Commissioner. It is now
being considered by the Commissioner.
