7. The 19 Public Relations Training for Insurance Staff Project”
The Committee and the Academic Service and Training Center of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy,
Chulalongkorn University jointly organized the 19 Public Relations Training for Insurance Staff to increase

knowledge, understanding and skills in public relations. The training was held from July 7, 2012 to August 25, 2012,
totaling 42 hours. The training is conducted on every Saturday between 9.00 to 16.00 hours for 8 sessions at the
Thai General Insurance Association.

8. The 4 Insurance Week
Set up the exhibition booth at the 4 Insurance Week organized by the Office of Insurance Commission

during September 28-30, 2012 at the Sirikit Convention Center.

9. Opening the World of Insurance Project

The Committee organized the Young Insurance Ambassador Camp under the Opening the World of Insurance
Project in the Northeast. The objectives are to create opportunity for learning, to have new experience and to promote
insurance knowledge among school children. Under this project, 4 schools in the region were selected as center of
activities and had been assigned the duty to organize activities and invite secondary school children in the areas
to join the camping and to undergo training on insurance and cartoon painting techniques, totaling about 100
children per center. And from each center, 10 students were selected to join the camp to participate in insurance
and high-level cartoon training courses. They were assigned to draw insurance related cartoons which will be
selected for publishing. The schools in the northeast selected as the 4 centers are:
1. Boonwatana School, Nakhon Ratchasima, August 21-22, 2012
2. Serngsarng School, Nakhon Ratchasima, November 24-25, 2012
3. Bosrisuwan Witayakhom School, Si Saket, February 12-13, 2013

4. Krasang Pitayakhom, Burirum, February 14-15, 2013.
