16. Meeting with foreign general insurance organizations

16.1 The Thai General Insurance Association joined the meeting with the ASEAN Natural Disaster Research and Works Sharing
(ANDREWS) Working Group and performed duty in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Thai General Insurance Association, led by Mr. Keedet Anansiriprapa, Executive Director, together with Ms. Kanlaya
Chukhom, Senior Assistant Executive Director, Academic Affairs, Mr. Worasit Thitithanakarn, Deputy Secretary-General of the
General Insurance Premium Rate Office, Ms. Narumon Dokphikun, Senior Manager, General Academic Affairs Department, and
Mr. Thanapol Trihat, Head of Insurance Support Group 2, traveled together to perform duty in Indonesia during June 8-9, 2023
as follows:

June 8, 2023: Mr. Teeradej Anantasiriprapa, as the Chairman of the ASEAN Agriculture Insurance Working Group (AIWG),
was honored to be a guest speaker on Thailand’s crop insurance project at the “International Conference on Agriculture Insurance:
Scalability and Sustainability” jointly organized by the Ministry of National Development Planning / National Development Planning
Agency (BAPPENAS) - Republik Indonesia, ASEAN Insurance Council (AIC) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
at the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) Conference Room. In the afternoon, he traveled with ANDREWS’s
delegation to pay a courtesy call and exchange ideas on the insurance business in ASEAN with senior officials at the ASEAN
Secretariat Headquarters, welcomed by Mr. Mavin Castel, Head of Finance Integration Division and Mr. Herminio Runas, Senior
Officer of Finance Integration Division.

June 9, 2023: The delegation attended a meeting with the ANDREWS Working Group, consisting of Cambodia, the Philippines,
Indonesia, Thailand, and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, to discuss important issues, namely, the exchange of information
on the insurance situation in each country, such as Parametric Insurance for Crop Insurance, and the insurance of public property
in Indonesia. Later, the delegation met with senior officials from the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia, led by Mr. Rionald Silaban,
Director General of Policy Formulation of State Assets, regarding the public property insurance project in Indonesia, which has
been implemented since 2009. Currently, the project has made significant progress and can provide coverage for approximately
32% of public property insurable assets (Insurance Assets), which will be beneficial for the study and implementation of the
public property insurance project in the country.

16.2 The 30 EAIC Executive Committee Meeting in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic
of China

Dr. Somporn Suebthavilkul, President of the Thai General Insurance Association and Chief Delegate from Bangkok (Thailand),
together with Mr. Sungthep Chan Srichawala, Vice President, and Mr. Olar Wongsuraphichet, Secretary-General, attended the 30 th
EAIC Executive Board Meeting on October 6, 2023 at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region,
People’s Republic of China, to discuss and prepare for the 30 EAIC, which will be hosted by Hong Kong from September 24-27,

2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People’s Republic of China. In
this EAIC Executive Board Meeting, the host presented the readiness of the venue, hotels, and travel arrangements, along with the
main theme of the seminar, “Back to the Future - Empower East Asian Insurers for 2044 and Beyond”. The host expects to attract
more than 800 participants next year.

16.3 Thai General Insurance Association joined SIRC2023 in Singapore

The Thai General Insurance Association, represented by Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, Executive Director, Ms. Kanlaya Chukhom,
Deputy Executive Director, Mr. Worasit Thitithanakarn, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Insurance Premium Rate Office, along
with association officials, held a meeting with foreign reinsurance companies to prepare for the readiness to accept insurance for the crop

insurance project in the 2024 production year at the “19 Singapore International Reinsurance Conference 2023” organized by the Singapore
Reinsurers’ Association from October 30, 2023 to November 2, 2023 in Singapore.
