18.6 Yoga activity for health

The Insurance Member Club organized a health yoga activity to enhance physical and mental health, create concentration,
enhance personality, and help relax and reduce stress from daily work, resulting in strong physical health. Ajarn Yenjit Singhaphanthu
(Kru Nuch), an expert in yoga training from the Yoga Training Institute in India with over 16 years of experience, was a speaker
and trainer. The event was held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from February 19 to April 5, 2024, for a total of 20 sessions,
2 hours each, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Seminar Room 502, Thai General Insurance Association.

(1) Press conference on “Strategic Plan and Operational Direction of the Thai General Insurance Association under

(2) Press conference on “Clarification of the case of a group of individuals/foreign companies selling insurance in

(1) Group accident insurance claim for the death of a street sweeper in Thonburi District (case 3). Published on
April 4, 2023
(2) The Thai General Insurance Association joined in preserving the Songkran tradition in 2023. Published on
April 12, 2023.
(3) Unanimous resolution to elect Dr. Somporn Suebthavilkul from Dhipaya Insurance Public Company Limited as the
President of the Thai General Insurance Association for the year 2023-2025, which is the first term as the President
of the Association (2-year term). Published on April 18, 2023
(4) Thai General Insurance Association joined the opening ceremony of Money Expo 2023 Bangkok. Published on
May 11, 2023.
(5) The Thai General Insurance Association brought the new executive board to meet the OIC Secretary-General.

(6) The secretary-general of the Office of the Insurance Commission congratulated the new president of the

(7) The Thai General Insurance Association organized a training course “Insurance Professionalism & Self-Empowering

(8) The Thai General Insurance Association co-hosted a reception for a delegation of insurance regulators from the
Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). Published on June 20, 2023.
(9) The New Board of Directors of the Thai General Insurance Association transformed the association towards the
Modernization of TGIA, moved forward with the strategic plan, and announced the Quick Win plan to drive the

(10) The Thai General Insurance Association took action on foreign companies selling insurance in Thailand without
a license, fearing that it would affect the general public, and warned the public to check before buying insurance

(11) The Thai General Insurance Association recommended guidelines for those affected by the firecracker and
fireworks warehouse explosion in the middle of the Mono Market, Su-ngai Kolok District, Narathiwat Province.
