CEO 2024)

Dr. Somporn Suebthavilkul, President of the Thai General Insurance Association, joined the press conference to summarize
the results of the meeting of senior insurance executives (OIC Meets CEO 2024) with Mr. Chuchat Pramulpol, Secretary-General
of the OIC, and Mr. Sara Lamsam, President of the Thai Life Assurance Association to enhance and strengthen the insurance

22.9 Insurance Academic Seminar on the topic “Societal that Impact the Insurance Landscape”

Dr. Somporn Suebthavilkul, President of the Thai General Insurance Association, honored the academic seminar on insurance
on the topic of “Societal that Impact the Insurance Landscape” and gave a special lecture on “Social Dynamics and Impacts on
the Insurance Business” organized by the Thai Insurance Brokers Association in collaboration with Thailand Insurance Magazine.
The event was attended by members of the Thai Insurance Brokers Association, related associations, and the media. Mr. Adisorn
Pipatvorapong, Deputy Secretary-General for Legal Affairs, Cases, and Benefits Protection, Office of the Insurance Commission,
presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar on March 27, 2024, at the Ballroom, Grand Fortune Hotel, Rama 9.

23. Discussing the case of groups of individuals/or foreign companies that provide health insurance in Thailand without
a license with Immigration Bureau Division 1

Thai General Insurance Association, represented by Mr. Prasert Kamkerd, Registrar and Chairman of the Legal and Regulatory
Committee, Mr. Aran Sriwongthai, Advisor to the Association’s Executive Committee, and Ms. Kanlaya Chukhom, Assistant
Director of Academic Affairs, met with Pol. Col. Narongwet On-unknown, Deputy Commander of Immigration Bureau 1, to discuss
the case of groups of individuals/or foreign companies that provide health insurance in Thailand without a license on January
16, 2024, at Meeting Room 1, Immigration Bureau 1, 3 Floor, Chaeng Watthana Government Complex (Building B), Chaeng

24. The 28 Insurance Seminar under the theme “Sustainable Insurance for Sustainable and Resilient Economy”

Thai General Insurance Association organized the 28 Insurance Seminar under the concept of “Sustainable Insurance for

Sustainable and Resilient Economy” to prepare the general insurance sector to cope with changes in the future world and to be
able to act as professional risk managers for all sectors sustainably. The event was honored by the presence of qualified speakers
with knowledge and experience in the 3 pillars of sustainability: 1) Environmental Protection, 2) Business Operation with Social
Consideration, and 3) Business Governance (Environment, Social, and Governance: ESG) to complement the ESG concept and
guidelines for sustainable organizational development on January 22, 2024 at Chatrium Grand Hotel, Petchburi Road, Bangkok.

25. Organizing a seminar to share TFRS 17 knowledge for the media

The Accounting-Finance and Investment Committee of the Thai General Insurance Association organized a seminar to share
knowledge with the media on the topic of Financial Reporting Standard No. 17 on Insurance Contracts (TFRS 17) and tax issues
in an easy-to-understand manner so that media in various fields, such as insurance, economics, and finance, can understand
and use this information to disseminate news correctly. Ms. Sunee Srisukthaveerat, Vice Chairwoman of the Accounting-Finance
and Investment Committee, and Ms. Buntharik Noisewak, Accounting-Finance and Investment Committee, were speakers on
January 23, 2024 at the Thai General Insurance Association.
