(3)  Senate’s Finance and Fiscal Committee: Joined a seminar on “Readiness of Financial and Capital
                        Market in Thailand for the AEC” to learn about the readiness in the areas of related law, finance, fiscal
                        policies and regulations and the financial and capital markets.

                    (4)  The Commerce and Intellectual Property Committee of the House of Representatives: Assigned a
                        speaker to speak on “Threats from ASEAN Economic Community and Preparation by Thailand”
                        organized on September 27, 2012 at the Rama Garden Hotel to provide information on general
                        insurance and the preparation for AEC.
                    (5)  The Fiscal Policy Office: Joined the preparation of the request list and other list of ASEAN member
                        countries in a project to set the framework for an agreement on liberation of financial service sector
                        under the framework of an agreement on ASEAN Service Business No. 6 and joined a seminar on the
                        findings of a stufy on “Stance of Thailand on Financial System and the Support in Formulation of
                        ASEAN Financial and Fiscal Strategy”

                    (6)  ASEAN Study Center, Thammasat University: Joined an academic seminar on topics related to
                        Economic, Social and Political Aspects of ASEAN on the 45  anniversary of ASEAN.

                    (7)  Thailand Development Research Institute: Joined an academic seminar 2012 on “AEC: Illusion,
                        Reality, Opportunity and Challenge” to publicize the findings of a study on economic and social
                        impacts of AEC.
                  6.2 Preparation for Liberalization of Financial Sector by General Insurance Business
                     The working group has assigned the KPMG Phoomchai Co., Ltd. to conduct a study on “Impacts of
                     ASEAN Market Liberalization on General Insurance Business in Thailand” with a view to preparing the
                     general insurance business for the AEC.


            7. General Insurance Agency License Examination

                  At a meeting on National Insurance Strategies on March 12, 2003, the Office of Insurance Commission has
            assigned the Thai General Insurance Association to provide a general insurance agency license examination service
            to those who are applying for agency license on behalf of the OIC.
                  The total number of applicants in 2012 was 8,811 of which 78.41% sat for the test, 45.95 % passed the exam
            and 21.59% did not show up for the exam.
