               8. Activities Implemented by the Office of the Arbitrator
                     The Office of the Arbitrator has been in operation for 18 years. The number of dispute cases it handled in
               2012 was 3,141, a decrease of 2,075 cases or 40%, compared with the previous year. The total amount of claim in
               these dispute cases in 2011 was 2.2 million Baht. In 2012, the Office completed handling a total of 4,854 dispute
               cases which 926 cases or 19% reached final decisions while 2,466 cases or 51% were compromised by the Office
               of the Secretary-General of the Arbitrator, 1,462 cases, or 30% withdrawn. The total financial value of all cases
               handled in 2012 was about 130 million Baht and as of the end of December 2012, 3,367 cases are cases in which
               Samphan Insurance Co., Ltd. is the dispute party, 1,825 cases pending, 2,192 cases are awaited to be settled and

               contested and 362 cases are being reviewed by the arbitrators.


               9. Activities Implemented by the Insurance Premium Rating Bureau
                     The Insurance Premium Rating Bureau was established by the resolution of National Insurance Strategy
               Meeting General Insurance Association and began operation on April 4, 2005.
                     The Insurance Premium Rating Bureau was established by the resolution of the meeting at the National
               Insurance Strategies Workshop on March 12, 2003 and the Department of Insurance approved its establishment on
               December 11, 2003. The IPRB officially started its operation on April 4, 2005.
                     On September 11, 2012, the IPRB Board approved a plan to improve the vision and mission of IPRB in a

               period of 3 years between 2012-2015 as follows.
