Establishing the Insurance Bureau System, enhancing the structure of non-life insurance data to fit with
                     its use, and developing electronic policies to lower the operating expense of the business;

                     Revising and improving definitions, conditions, and exclusions of several insurance policies to be
                     standardized and in line with one another;

                     Studying the deregulation on motor tariffs to prepare for and to support the insurance liberalization at
                     both ASEAN and global levels;

                     Studying and disseminating the Thatcham’s motor technical information related to the underwriting risk
                     by classifying motors based on the risk of the group (Group Rating) and certifying spare parts’ quality
                     (Part Accreditation);





                                           Cooperating with the Office of Insurance Commission in developing the
                                           Risk-Based Capital Framework Phase 2;

                                           Cooperating with the Office of Insurance Commission in considering the
                                           appropriateness of the Stress Test Framework for non-life insurance business;

                                           Conducting the Best Surveyors Awards 2013 to promote skill, knowledge,
                                           and understanding in motor insurance system for motor accident surveyors.

                                           In addition, Thai General Insurance Association also collaborated with the
                                     Office of Insurance Commission in developing a 200 baht Insurance Program for
                                     retail insureds or Micro-insurance on Personal Accident Insurance, to help people to
                                     access insurance more easily. The Association also held the 24  Insurance Seminar
                                                                                         th
                                     under the theme of “Determining the Future of Thai Non-life Insurance Business
                                     toward A Sustainable Growth” whereas the KPMG Phoomchai Business Consulting
                                     Co., Ltd. presented the preliminary results from the research on “Impact of Thai
                                     Non-life Insurance Liberalization in ASEAN” to the member companies.

                                           Finally, I would like to thank all the organizations both in public and private
                                     sectors and our member companies for all the helps and cooperation that make our
                                     operations and activities successful. I would like also to thank members of all the
                                     Committees and the staff of TGIA for the collective efforts that make the TGIA a
                                     successful organization and accepted by the members as well as for the help to
                                     build the confidence to the Thai society.
