Report of Thai General Insurance Association’s Activities
1. Project of Non-life Insurance Public Relation via On-line Media
The Thai General Insurance Association’s Board of Executive Directors of 2015-2017 has a policy to have
a project to do public relation about non-life insurance business via on-line media, aiming to build knowledge,
understanding, and awareness of the importance and benefits of non-life insurance to the public. The project
will run from December, 2015 to November, 2016 as in the summary of Non-life Insurance PR Plan below.
Phase 1 Make A Buzz Make the public alert that unlucky is everywhere.
Introducing 10 clips via popular Facebook Fanpages, namely, the Jeab Tua
Soui (Jeab the Jinx) and Youlike Clip, and putting a hashtag #Singjouijoui
Souijingjing
Phase 2 Launch Launch a campaign “No matter how lucky it is, insurance can help,” via
1. 3 Viral Films, promoted through on-line media and social media;
2. Interactive Online Banner;
3. Music Video;
4. Out of home Media: BTS, Billboard & Mupi; and
5. A scoop in Rueng Jing Phan Jaw (True story via the monitor) TV Program,
Part “A Talk with Thai General Insurance Association: How can you be sure
that it will not be you?”
Phase 3 Sustain Keep the conversations alive and continuous.

2. Project of Major Rice Insurance for Crop Year 2015
Thai General Insurance Association had worked with the Department of Agricultural Extension, the Bank
for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives, the Fiscal Policy Office, the Office of Insurance Commission, and
other 7 insurance companies, including Bangkok Insurance Public Company Limited, Chaopraya Insurance
Public Company Limited, Dhipaya Insurance Public Company Limited, Tune Insurance Public Company Limited,
Navakij Insurance Public Company Limited, Thaivivat Insurance Public Company Limited, and Viriyah Insurance
Public Company Limited to undertake the Project of Major Rice Insurance for Crop Year 2015.
3. PIAM-TGIA LIAISON MEETING IN BANGKOK 2015
Thai General Insurance Association and Malaysia General Insurance Association had a joint meeting at
the executive level (PIAM-TGIA LIAISON MEETING 2015) to exchange information about insurance markets in
both countries, on November 24, 2015, at the Thai General Insurance Association.

Thai General Insurance Association, represented by Mr. Arnon Opaspimoltum, Vice President of TGIA

and Mr. Kheedhej Anansiriprapha, Executive Director of TGIA, attended the 28 East Asian Insurance Congress
(EAIC) Executive Board Meeting, being held during October 8-10, 2015, at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel,
People’s Republic of China.
