13.4 Insurance Futsal Tournament

September 19-20 and 26-27, 2015, at the Sport Center in Honor of the 72 Birthday. There were 39 teams

participating in the tournament with 468 players in total.
13.5 Insurance Basketball tournament

The 6 Insurance Basketball Tournament featuring double male and double female was held on October
17-18, 2015, at the Sports Stadium, Kasetsart University (BangKhen campus). There were 11 double male

teams with 132 players and 4 double female teams with 48 players, making 180 participants in total.
13.6 7-men Football Tournament
The 6 7-men Football Tournament, male and senior-executive teams, to win the trophy of HRH Princess

Soamsawali, was held on November 21-22 and 28-19, 2015 at the Dhupateme Royal Thai Air Force Sports
Stadium. There were 39 male teams, 585 players in total, and 15 senior-executive teams, 225 players in total,
participating in the tournament. Total number of players was 810 persons.
13.7 Insurance Badminton Tournament

The 8 Insurance Badminton Tournament featuring double male, double female, mixed double, and
double senior male (50 up) was held on February 13, 2016 at the Sports Stadium, Kasetsart University (Bang
Khen campus). There were 31 double male teams, 15 double female teams, 24 mixed double teams and 10
double senior male teams, making 160 participants in total.

13.8 Activity for Insurance Member Club’s Families
An Activity for Insurance Member Club’s Families was held during March 19-20, 2016, (Bangkok –
Uthai Thani).

14. Arranging Insurance Examinations for Non-life Insurance Agent License Application
As in the National Strategic Insurance Meeting on March 12, 2003, the Office of Insurance Commission
(OIC) has authorized Thai General Insurance Association to be the insurance examination organizer for non-life
insurance agent license application on behalf of the OIC.
Since then, Thai General Insurance Association had arranged insurance examinations for non-life

insurance agent license application on a regular basis. From 2004 - December 31, 2015, in total, there were
136,930 persons applying for the examinations; of which 82.88% actually sitting for the exams and 17.12%
absent. The failing rate was 31.59% and passing rate was 68.41%.
During January 1 – December 31, 2015, Thai General Insurance Association had arranged insurance
examinations for non-life insurance agent license application nationwide. In total, there were 7,664 persons
applying for the examinations; of which 80.04% actually sitting for the exams and 19.96% absent. The failing
rate was 62.13% and passing rate was 37.87%.
