5. The 41 ASEAN Insurance Council Meeting
Thai General Insurance Association, represented by Mr. Arnon Opaspimoltum, Vice President of TGIA,
Mr. Nopadol Santipakorn, Secretary General of TGIA, and Mr. Kheedhej Anansiriprapha, Executive Director

of TGIA, attended the 41 ASEAN Insurance Council Meeting, being held during October 26-30, 2015, in
Cambodia.

6. Preparing Reports on Non-life Insurance Statistics and Trend of Insurance Industry
Thai General Insurance Association, by the Insurance Premium Rating Bureau (IPRB), in cooperation with
the OIC, had prepared reports of non-life insurance statistics, providing sets of data and analytical reviews to
insurance companies on a quarterly basis, and published a Report on “Insurance Industry Overview and Trend
in the Next Year” for executives of insurance companies. The Report contained information about the market
movements and expansions which were in-depth and beneficial to strategic planning of insurance companies.

7. Publishing Insurance Media
7.1 Insurance Journal. Issued on a quarterly basis, to promote insurance business and publicize
insurance knowledge to members and to the public.
7.2 TGIA Newsletter. Thai General Insurance Association, by the Technical Department, had issued TGIA

Newsletter on a monthly basis, providing information, news and key activities to update member companies and
to benefit the preparedness of member companies in various aspects.

8. Holding Insurance Press Conferences
8.1 Insurance Performance Press Conference and Mass Media Thank You Party 2015, being held on
March 3, 2015, at the Plaza Athenee hotel, Wireless Road.
8.2 Insurance 9-month Performance and Trend in 2016 Press Conference, being held on November 16,
2015, at the Thai General Insurance Association.

9. Setting up Insurance Booths
9.1 In a SMEs Mentor Seminar in Managing All Risks and Bringing Ideas to SMEs, on March 16, 2015, at
the Swissotel Le Concord hotel.
9.2 In a campaign to reduce road accidents during Songkran holidays 2015 “Songkran Zero Death,” on
April 9-10, 2015, at the Mo Chit Bus Terminal and Hua Lumphong Railway Station.
9.3 In an opening ceremony of the Major Rice Insurance for Crop Year 2015 Project, on May 15, 2015,
at AngThong Pattamaroj Wittayakom School, Ang Thong.
9.4 In the Thailand International Logistics Fair 2015, during September 2-4, 2015, at the Bangkok
International Trade and Exhibitions Center (BITEC), Bang-na.
9.5 In the 12 National Seminar in Road Safety – A Half Decade of Strong Management, during

December 14-15, 2015, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibitions Center (BITEC), Bang Na.
