Performance Report of the Marine Insurance and
               Logistics Committee


               1. Membership of IUMI
                     The Committee applied for a membership of the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) to obtain
               update news and movements of marine insurance and to disseminate the information to member companies.
               There were 3 companies that sponsored the membership fee, namely, Tokio Marine Insurance (Thailand) Plc.,
               Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. (Thailand Branch), and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance (Thailand)
               Plc.. The Association was granted a 9-month membership, from April 2015 – December 2015.



               2. A Draft of Logistics Service Providers’ Liability Insurance Policy
                     The Committed had developed a draft of Logistics Service Providers’ Liability Insurance policy and
               conducted a public hearing to gain comments from stakeholders for further improvement. Presently, the policy
               has been in the process of finalization before being submitted to the Registrar for approval of the form and
               wording of the policy.


               3.  An  Endorsement  for  Additional  Property  Exclusion  (Form  KHOR  SOR.  5)  for
               Carriers’ Liability Insurance
                     The Committee had developed an Endorsement for Additional Property Exclusion (Form KHOR SOR. 5)
               for Carriers’ Liability Insurance to additionally exclude any property other than those already specified in the
               policy’s Exclusion part. At present, the endorsement has been already submitted to the Registrar.


               4. International Carriage by Air Act B.E. 2558
                     As the International Carriage by Air Act B.E. 2558, which prescribes certain rules for international carriage
               by air to conform to the international practices and to be applied to domestic carriage by air, has been already
               enforced, to prepare for complying to the Act, the Committee conducted a seminar in the International Carriage
               by Air Act B.E. 2558, to inform and provide knowledge to member companies, on July 24, 2015 at the Thai
               General Insurance Association.

               5. Joining Exhibition and Holding a Panel Discussion in the Logistic Expo 2015
                     The Committee, together with the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), set up an exhibition booth to
               promote insurance and held a panel discussion in “Fully-equipped with Insurance” in the Logistic Expo 2015,
               during September 2-4, 2015 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC).


               6. Appointing Representatives to Participate in Meetings and Seminars
                     Aiming to promote, support, and develop business of marine insurance and logistics, the Committee had
               appointed representatives to participate in many meetings and seminars organized by public agencies and
               private organizations such as the Royal Thai Police, the Marine Department, the Department of International
               Trade Promotion, and the Association of Southern Logistics and Transportation.



               7. Publishing a Book of the Marine Insurance and Logistics Committee
                     The Committee published 1,000 copies of International Cargo Insurance Book – a comparison of the
               Institute Cargo Clauses 1/1/09 vs. Institute Cargo Clauses 1/1/82.
