8. Prescribed Approval Criteria of Policy Forms and Wordings, Endorsements, and
Premium Rates for Cargo Insurance and Hull Insurance (File & Use)
The Registrar approved and issued a Registrar Order No. 15/2558 on Prescribed Approval Criteria of
Policy Forms and Wordings, Endorsements, and Premium Rates for Cargo Insurance and Hull Insurance, taking
into effect from August 4, 2015 onwards. In this regard, if a company would like to file the policy forms and
wordings, endorsements, and premium rates for the cargo insurance and hull insurance, the company must first
submit all documents to the Committee for consideration before proposing them to the Registrar.
9. Organizing an Insurance and Logistics Academic Field Trip (Bangkok – Phitsanulok
– Mae Sot – Myawaddy)
The Committee had organized an insurance and logistics academic field trip (Bangkok – Phitsanulok –
Mae Sot – Myawaddy) during February 18-20, 2016, to bring benefits to cargo insurance underwriting and claim
management and to study means and opportunities of expanding non-life insurance business in the future.
10. Organizing a Field Trip to Study Land Transportation at the Inland Container
Depot (ICD) and Conducting a Seminar in “How to Underwrite for the Beginner – Ship
Business Documents”
The Marine Insurance and Logistics Club had organized a field trip to study land transportation at the
Inland Container Depot (ICD) and conducted a seminar in “How to Underwrite for the Beginner – Ship Business
Documents,” during March 11-12, 2016, to enable the participants to see the warehouse operating system
and logistics operation, and to understand about documents related to marine cargo business, which shall be
applied to their works.
