4. Academic cooperation project on research and development of human resources.
The General Insurance Association’s Executive Board and the Business Development and Public
Relations Committee held a joint meeting with Dr. Chotirat Chawanit, the President of the Eastern Asia University
and his group to discuss about the guidelines for developing insurance business and the offering of insurance
study courses at university level on July 5, 2011 at the General Insurance Association’s Conference room. The
meeting recognized the project as the joint technical cooperation projects in the area of research and human

resource development.

5. New Library Membership Card of General Insurance Association.
The new Library Membership Cards of General insurance Association are divided into 3 categories:
Honorary Member, VIP Club member and ordinary member. The use of this new card will start on June 1, 2011

when public relations activities will be conducted to publicize the program among member companies through
the GENERAL INSURANCE ASSOCIATION website, group e-mail and Public Relations coordinators of member
companies. The library also offers new service book delivery to Honorary and VIP members.

6. Published a book of 5 short stories of the winners of the 4 “Young Insurance Ambassador”

The Committee organized the 4 Young Insurance Ambassador training project to provide insurance and

arts knowledge to secondary school children or equivalent. During the training, the Committee selected 5 short
stories as winners of the short story contest under the theme “Insurance: Environmental Friendly”. These short
stories have been published for 2000 volumes to disseminate insurance knowledge in educational institution all

over the country.
