1. Accident and Health Insurance Database
The Committee reviewed the accident and health insurance database which is now available to member
companies through the General Insurance Association’s intranet. In order to optimize the system for the benefit of
health and accident insurance business, the top 10 companies that provide accident and health insurance
products and the Committee have been discussing how to achieve the goal.

2. Premium Rating, File and Use Accident and Health Insurance Policy and Policy Manual
1) The Accident and Health Insurance Club has completed and filed the premium rating and the file and
use accident and health insurance policy for approval by the Office of Insurance Commission. They are in the
process of being approved.
2) The Accident and Health Insurance Club made the CD of accident and health insurance file and use
manual to distribute to member companies. The manual has also been posted on the Association’s website.
3) The Accident and Health Insurance Club has undergone a review of the wording of the file and use
accident and health insurance policy because there are some issues that must be improved and revised for

correctness, clarity and for the benefit of the member companies.

3. Third Party Liability Insurance Policy
The Liability Insurance Club has reviewed the third party liability insurance policy and endorsement. After
the proposed revision to the policy is approved by the Office of Insurance Commission, it will be used as a
standard policy.
