5.5 A Seminar on GA & Salvage
The Marine Insurance and Logistics Committee organized a seminar on GA and Salvage on January 25,
2011 at the Federation of Accounting Professions to develop and promote knowledge on marine and logistics
insurance for the staff of member companies who work in this area.
5.6 Participated in A Workshop and Study Tour
Participated in a workshop and a study tour on the development of waterways for tourism by cruisers and

sports in order to promote a shipbuilding, repair and related businesses on September 15, 2011 in Bangkok. The
activities include boat touring along the Chao Phraya River and a panel discussion on how to strengthen business
operation and competitiveness through cluster network. The discussion allowed the audience to exchange views
and recommendations on how to establish the cluster of ship building and related business. The event was
organized by the International Maritime College, Kasetsat University, Sri Racha Campus.
5.7 Joining the Activities of World Ocean Day 2011
Assigned representatives to join the World Ocean Day 2011 jointly organized by the International Maritime
Organization and the Harbor Department under the theme “Piracy: Orchestrating the Response” and set up the
exhibition booth on September 28, 2011 at the Royal River Hotel, Bangkok
