6.  Studying  and  Disseminating  the  Thatcham’s  Motor  Technical  Information  Related  to  the
                   Underwriting Risk
                     The Committee had hired Thatcham (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to study and disseminate the motor technical

               information related to the underwriting risk for the 3  consecutive years. The scope of the project included to
                                                           rd
               classify motors based on the risk of the group (Group Rating), which would be pushed to be implemented in the
               Motor Tariff, to certify spare parts’ quality (Part Accreditation), and to disseminate the study result to the public,
               insurance business, and the makers or motor-related entrepreneurs to create awareness about safety.


               7.  Developing the Extended Territory Coverage Endorsement and Additional Premium Rate Thereof
                     The Committee had developed the Extended Territory Coverage endorsement and additional premium rate
               thereof, aiming to prepare for the AEC where the number of cross-border vehicles tended to increase substantially.
               The development also included the coverage under the Protection for Motor Vehicle Victims Act into the endorse-

               ment.


               8.  Motor Insurance Data Structure
                     The Committee, together with the Office of Insurance Commission and the Insurance Premium Rating
               Bureau, had developed a structure of motor insurance data in order to be a standard structure of data for non-life
               insurance companies to report to the Insurance Bureau, a data center of the non-life insurance business.


               9.  The Best Surveyor Award 2013
                     The Committee conferred the Best Surveyors Awards 2013 to promote skill, knowledge, and understanding
               in motor insurance operating system to the motor surveyors. In addition, the award was aimed to strengthen pride
               in the profession and to create good image to the insurance business. The award was divided into 2 categories:

               individual motor surveyor and corporate motor surveyor. This year, 16 individual surveyors and 3 corporate
               surveyors were awarded.

               10. Jointly Holding the Ceremony of E-Claim Awards and the Ceremony of E-Claim Certificate and
               Logo Granted
                        The Committee jointly held the ceremony of E-Claim Awards and the ceremony of E-Claim Certificate and
               Logo Granted on November 4, 2013, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, and also participated in a
               discussion about how to increase efficiency of E-Claim with staff from hospitals on the same day.
