1. The 2 Young Non-life Insurer Camp
The HR Insurance Club organized the 2 Young Non-life Insurer Camp, to provide an opportunity to 50
nd
selected sophomores and juniors from universities in Bangkok and up-country to learn more about insurance
knowledge, insurance career, and insurance business. The camp aimed to promote the understanding, benefits,
and necessity of insurance. The camp was held during October 18-20, 2013 at the Thai General Insurance
Association and at the Royal Thai Marine Corps, Sattahip, Chonburi.

2. The World of Insurance Project
The Committee organized the World of Insurance Project (Provincial Level) in the North, aiming to provide an
opportunity to the youth in schools to obtain new experience and learn about non-life insurance. Under this project,
6 schools in the North were selected to be centers for running assigned activities. Each center was authorized to
invite about 100 high-school students in its area to join a camp and to provide a training course about insurance
knowledge and cartoon drawing techniques. Then each center had to preselect 10 students who would then attend
an advanced non-life insurance course and advanced cartoon drawing techniques course. Participating students

of the advanced courses were required to produce insurance-related cartoons which would be published and used
for PR purpose. Those 6 schools that were selected as centers in the North consisted of:
1. Maetang School, Chiang Mai, November 7-8, 2013
2. Horpra School, Chiang Mai, November 11-12, 2013
3. Patarn Baantipittaya, Lamphun, November 21-22, 2013
4. Damrongratsongkroh School, Chiang Rai, November 23-24, 2013
5. Bankadwittayakom School, Chiang Mai, November 25-26, 2013
6. Maetuerwittaya, Lamphun, December 12-13, 2013

3. Training for the Trainer Course
The Committee had held the Training for the Trainer Course for junior and senior students majoring in
Insurance at Songkra Nakarin University, Trang Campus. The course focused on skills and techniques in teaching

insurance to other students. The participants had to convey what they had learnt to students in other schools and
universities. The course was held during January 17-20, 2014 at Songkra Nakarin University, Trang Campus.

4. The 5 Insurance Genius Youth Project
The Committee held an insurance quiz contest under the 5 Insurance Genius Youth Project by inviting

high-school students (Mattayom 4-6) to participate in the insurance quiz contest to win scholarships. For the
regional screening round, the contests were held simultaneously nationwide on Saturday 18 , January, 2014. The
th
championship round will be held during March 28-29, 2014 at Chaopraya Park Hotel, Ratchadaphisek Rd.,

Bangkok.
