TGIA’s Social Work Projects and Activities for

               Public Benefit



                     Thai General Insurance Association (TGIA), as a central organization of insurance private sector, had major
               policy in developing, promoting, and supporting member in insurance business to unite and help each other. In
               addition, the Association has expanded its role more into social responsibility and activities for public benefit that
               are in line with the mission of TGIA in creating awareness of safety and security in life, body, and property, as well
               as in social responsibility, leading to the social work projects and activities for public benefit of Thai General
               Insurance Association. In 2014, the Association had undertaken key projects and social activities as follows:


               1. Activities for Social Work and Public Benefit
                     1.1  Donating to Earthquake Victims in Chiang Rai Province
                     Thai General Insurance Association, together with non-life insurance companies, donated money to
               earthquake victims in Chiang Rai province on June 5, 2014, Chiang Rai City Hall. The total donated amount was
               427,793.25 baht.
                     1.2  Donating to the Navy Wives Improve Lives of Orphans Project
                     Thai General Insurance Association donated money to the “Navy Wives Association” in participation of the
               Navy Wives Improve Lives of Orphans Project for 100,000 baht.
                     1.3  Providing Alcohol Testers to the Thai Traffic Police
                     Motor Insurance Committee provided 10 sets of alcohol testers to the Thai Traffic Police to support the traffic
               polices’ operation under the “Don’t Drive Drunk” Part 2 on April 10, 2014 at the Thai Traffic Police.
                     1.4  Sponsoring “The Most Wanted” Calendars Project of the Center for Auto Theft Suppression
                     Mr. Paiboon Jirayuwat, Chairman of Motor Insurance Committee, jointly signed MOU on “The Most Wanted”
               Calendars Project, to prevent and suppress car and motorcycle thefts, on August 26, 2014, at the Royal Thai Police,
               presided by Pol. Gen. Somyot Pumpanmuang, Deputy National Police Chief, and gave 390,000 baht to sponsor the
               Project.
                     1.5  Sponsoring “New Year Zero Death” Campaign
                     Motor Insurance Committee supported a budget of 50,000 baht to the Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation for the
               “New Year Zero Death” Campaign on December 23, 2014 at the Statesman Foundation. In addition, the Committee
               set up an exhibition booth to provide insurance knowledge and give out drinking water to people who were
               travelling during New Year holidays under the “New Year Zero Death” Campaign to reduce road accidents and
               promote road safety to people on December 29, 2014 at Mo-Chit Bus Station and on December 30, 2014 at
               Hua-Lamphong Train Station.
                     1.6  Sponsoring School Building Renovation and School Supplies
                     Thai General Insurance Association joined a function of “The 11  Brother to Brother - From Insurance

               Friends and Business Alliances to the Society” and sponsored a school building renovation and school supplies for
               30,000 baht, received by Mr. Veerasak Vichitsangsri, Vice Governor of Suphan Buri Province, on July 19, 2014, at
               Bannonghang School, Tambon Nongkam, Suphan Buri.
                     1.7  Giving Blankets and Knit Caps under the Insurance against Coldness Project
                     Development and Public Relations Committee held the Insurance against Coldness Project to help out and
               alleviate the distress of coldness victims by ordering 4,670 blankets and 4,670 knit caps for giving out to the
               coldness victims who were in poverty. The Association and member companies jointly sponsored the project and
               travelled to hand over the blankets to the coldness victims in 2 provinces, namely, Loei, in Amphur Dansai and
               Amphur Tali, during December 25-27, 2014, for 2,000 sets; and Uttaradit, in Amphur Lublae, during January 8-10,
