4. Revision of Maximum Premium Rates for Natural Perils
                     The Committee proposed to OIC to revise the maximum premium rates for natural perils, intending to make
               them consistent with current situation of natural peril underwriting in oversea reinsurance markets. The Insurance
               Commissioner announced a Commandment No. 29/2014 - Use of Premium Rates for Insurance Policies and
               Premium Rates for Endorsements (Applicable to Property Insurance Policy Covering Natural Perils and Catastrophe
               in Excess of the Fund, Premium Rates for Additional Perils, and Premium Rates for the Limit of Liability Endorsement
               of the Industrial All Risk Insurance Policy).

               5. The Project of Collaborative Development of Prototype of Map and Model to Assess Risk of
                  Flooding in Prone Areas for Non-life Insurance Underwriting Phrase 2
                     The Committee, together with the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public
               Organization) or GISTDA undertook the Project of Collaborative Development of Prototypes of Map and Model to
               Assess Risk of Flooding in Prone Areas for Non-life Insurance Underwriting Phase 2. This phase included maps
               displaying 7-year recurring flooded areas, maps indicating flooding prone areas divided into 5 zones, methods of
               locating the premises of property insured, and methods of importing data and reporting analysis results based on
               different conditions.


               6. A Field Trip to Observe Risk Management on a Business Premises
                     The Insurance Risk Management Club organized a field trip to see the actual fire compartment and smoke
               control  system  to  further  expand  the  participants’  knowledge  previously  gained  from  the  seminar  in  “Fire
               Compartment and Smoke Control”, at Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital.


               7. Property Insurance Data Structure
                     The Office of Insurance Commission has set up a project of Insurance Bureau System (IBS) Development,
               aiming to have a central database for the insurance business. In this regard, the OIC assigned related parties to
               review details of the data structure of all types of insurance one more time to ensure that they are in line with
               companies’ operations. The Committee joined meetings to review the details of the data structure of property
               insurance, together with the Thai Insurers Datanet Company Limited and the Insurance Premium Rating Bureau.
               Comments from the meetings will be sent to the OIC and a briefing meeting for the member companies will be held
               afterward.
