1. The 3 Young Non-life Insurer Camp
The HR Insurance Club organized the 3 Young Non-life Insurer Camp to provide knowledge and

understanding, and to exchange view, perception, and attitude, as well as to promote insurance career path in
order to persuade new generation students into insurance business. The Camp was hold during May 31 - June 2,
2014. There were 55 selected university students participating in. Insurance executives were invited to share their
first-handed experiences and to present the overview and trend of insurance business. The Camp also provided a
field trip to visit insurance companies.
2. Exploring the World of Insurance Project
2.1 Provincial Level: Northern Region
The Committee had hosted a Cartoon Camp for young insurance ambassadors under the Project of
Exploring the World of Insurance, being held during April 28-30, 2014 at Taweechol Garden, Chiang Mai.
The Camp provided a training of insurance knowledge to high school students in the Northern region and
held a cartoon drawing competition under the theme of “La-on Thai Huk Kwam Prodpai” (meaning Thai
youngsters love safety). This activity was a part in creating opportunity for learning and gaining experience
opportunity for strengthening insurance knowledge to youths. The project implementation had received
kind assistance from 6 regional school-networking centers, namely Maetang School, Horpra School,
Patarn Baantipittaya School, Damrongratsongkroh School, Bankadwittayakom School, and
Maetuerwittaya School. These centers helped to disseminate insurance knowledge via cartoon media
through their own operations, under the sponsorship of Thai General Insurance Association.
2.2 Provincial Level: Southern Region
The Committee had organized meetings with schools in Southern region to introduce the Exploring of
Insurance World Project and to select schools that were suitable and ready to be school-networking
centers in the Southern region and to host a Cartoon Camp for young insurance ambassadors. There
were 6 schools participating in this project, comprising of Suansriwittaya School, Hatyaiwittayalai School,
Darunsat Witya School, Paphayomphittayakom School, Satreeranong School, and Khaochaison School.
Next step, the Committee will organize insurance training courses for students in each school center.
3. “Open Insurance Door to Campus” Project
3.1 Meeting with Faculty of Techers from Various Universities
HR Insurance Club organized a meeting with faculty of teachers from various universities on August 1,
2014 at the Swissotel Le Concorde, in order to jointly push and carry insurance teaching in universities
and jointly hold activities such as Career Campus, Training for Trainer, Young Non-Life Insurer Camp, and
Student Trainee in Insurance (STI) which were important in convincing more students to come into insur-
ance business and mitigate the problem of lack of professional insurance officers.
3.2 Student Trainee in Insurance (STI) Project
HR Insurance Club held a meeting with HR executives in insurance business, seeking for the auspices of
insurance companies in the Student Trainee in Insurance (STI) Project, a project that give a co-operative
education to university students. The trainees will have an opportunity to learn about the business, to
understand business processes, and to have the right and proper attitude toward insurance, in prior to
the graduation and real operation. The meeting was held on December 22, 2014 at The Sukosol Hotel.
