3.3 Non-life Insurance Career Campus Fair
HR Insurance Club, together with Chiang Mai University, jointly held the Non-Life Insurance Career
Campus Fair on January 30, 2015 at Chiang Mai University. A number of activities were undertaken,
including presenting career path in insurance business, giving techniques for job interview, giving
techniques in writing resume, arranging career counselling clinic, holding insurance quiz contest to win
prizes, and setting up exhibition to provide information about insurance. Many insurance companies
joined the Fair by setting up their PR booths and welcoming job applications on-site.
4. Training for the Trainer Course
The Committee held the Training for the Trainer Course for junior and senior students majoring in Insurance at
Songkra Nakarin University, Trang Campus. The course focused on skills and techniques in teaching insurance.
Consequently, the participants had conveyed and applied what they had learnt to students in Huaiyang School in
Trang province and Nuaklongbumrung School in Krabi province. The course was held on December 26, 2014.
5. The 6 Insurance Genius Youth Project

The Committee held an insurance quiz contest under the 6 Insurance Genius Youth Project by inviting high-
th
school students (Mattayom 4 - 6) to participate in the insurance quiz contest to win scholarships. In the regional
screening round, the examinations were held simultaneously nationwide on Saturday 13 , December, 2014. The

championship round was held during March 21-22, 2015 at Chaopraya Park Hotel, Ratchadaphisek Rd.
6. The Insurance Management Development Program (IMDP) - Class 20
The Committee, in collaboration with the Academic Services and Training Center of the Faculty of Commerce
and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, had organized the Insurance Management Development Program
(IMDP) - Class 20 from September 1 – November 30, 2014, having 156 hours of training in total. There were 54
participants from insurance companies, broker companies and Office of Insurance Commission joining the program.
7. Public Relations for Non-life Insurance Officers Course - Class 20
The Committee, in collaboration with the Academic Services and Training Center of the Faculty of Commerce
and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, had organized a training course on Public Relations for Non-life
Insurance Officers - Class 20, aiming to develop public relations skill of the participants, from July 26 - August 30,
2014, having 40 hours of training in total. Classes were held on Saturday from 9.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. at Thai General
Insurance Association.
8. Insurance against Coldness Project
The Committee ordered 4,000 blankets to donate to coldness victims who were in poverty under the Insurance
against Coldness Project. In addition, member companies sponsored additional 670 blankets, making up 4,670
blankets, and 4,670 knit caps. The blankets and caps were handed to coldness victims in 2 provinces, namely, Loei,
on December 19, 2014, and Uttaradit, on January 9, 2015.
9. Training Scholarships from the General Insurance Association of Japan

9.1 The 24 ISJ Advanced Course
The General Insurance Association of Japan granted 3 scholarships of the 24 ISJ Advanced Course to

Thai General Insurance Association. In this regard, the Committee organized a selective examination to
select participants among employees from insurance companies and agencies under Thai General
Insurance Association to win the scholarships. The Course theme was “Strategy for Sustainable Growth
of Non-life Insurance Companies,” being held from May 19 - 31, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan. The selected
persons were:
